Today I was able to take Enoch & Ammon to go do baptisms at the Ogden temple. They are the first temple in Utah to open up to more than 20 people per hour during our Covid phase 3, and so we finally got a temple to visit in Utah! They were fast and efficient and we all were able to do 5 names and be completed in 30 minutes!

Today I visited the Odgen Temple. It was a bit over an hour away from me. I had my endowment scheduled for 8, my sealing at 10 and my initiators at 11:30. Unfortunately the sound was off on my navigation, so I missed a few exits and didn't arrive to the temple until 8. I was worried that it would mess up my appointments, but had faith that everything would work out. Luckily they had an 8:30 session, and I was able to attend that one and still make it to my 10 am sealings. The sealer was amazing and helped me get done 14 sealing. That's the most I've done in one session in a long time.
One thing I noticed about the Ogden temple was that it had many features that I would have thought were only in newer temples, but I didn't think it was a new temple. It had stained glass on the endowment ceiling room that was lit behind it. It had gorgeous marble columns and base boards. It had beautiful stained glass windows. It even had marble bathroom stalls with wood doors like Payson. I looked it up when I left and saw that it was originally built in 1967 and had a 3.5 year renovation that was completed in 2014. That made sense! They really did completely redo this temple!
